they do berliner pilsner for 3.50 a pint which is alright in my books.

tis good, only been in Shrewsbury a couple of years so not sure what it was like before that. Does good well kept ales, huge selection of canned beers, has stuff like Beavertown on draft for (relatively) cheap. Hosts almost all of the local club nights too.

re: Yorkshire House, can’t beat a good rock/metal pub. Was the statue there when you went?

why have you never been inside the marquis? cheap beer/football on like 4 screens, can take your own food in…

???

Don’t drink, pay for football in my home and there is also food there as well.

The Bell is the one just down the road from The Junction isn’t it? The small one next to the mini roundabout?

My mate has said it’s quite nice in there too

okay!

That’s interesting saps because IT USED TO BE A RESIDENTIAL HOME!!!111111111111111111111111

Love that garden.

Yes, looking at pictures of pubs makes me happy. Mostly London and Sheffield pubs give me the most feels.

Good wee pub the belle

I think that one may be the New Inn

The Bell is away from Harborne high street on the other side of the cricket ground.

Ohh, I know the one you mean now. Hadn’t noticed it was the one in the photos you posted!

This thread is making me really want a pint.

Yeah it points directly at the setting sun, going down over relatively pretty Westbury on Trym. Is really splendid, and has taught me that I’m just as happy with a Fosters and that view as I am with a wankers beer in the city centre.

This is my local, the Shandon Arms, more commonly known as Jack Forde’s.

Photo taken moments ago. The pub is approximately ten metres from my house.

I know it well! Some good pubs around that neck o’the woods…

Sydenham

Never been in it. Looks a bit fighty.

How so?

Do enjoy the massive cricket ball outside though.

Also, it looks more yellow in real life, I feel.
