i’m going to go with:

Metal Gear Solid - i rented this and thought it was amazing, loved the gameplay, the story, the characters, the VR missions, the music. it’s ace
Final Fantasy VIII - yeah i know everyone thinks it’s the worst FF game on the PS1 but it’s the first one i played and loved it. Squall’s not even that bad IMO.
Championship Manager 01/02 - played it SO much, think i sunk like 50 years into one save. i’ve liked versions since but never as much.
Persona 4 Golden - brilliant game, shame it’s kind of stuck on the Vita as more people should play it. got a good sense of fun, love the soundtrack, characters are ace and i felt so sort of empty after finishing it that i ended up playing it all the way through straight away afterwards
Sonic the Hedgehog - playing this game got me into playing games on consoles rather than my old Amstrad way back in the day, was blown away by how good it looked and how fast it was. music is epic.
