It was Minor Threat live footage I think. I think they did something the same year with Saul Williams at Leeds…maybe. Can’t quite remember

saw them in sheffield with 65dos i think. my friend told me that if i didn’t get the clapping bit right in Ores he would pretend we weren’t there together.

I love this EP. And Cats and Cats and Cats too. Although Happiness for Lola is my go to cats and cats and cats jam.

I also spent a lot of time listening to volcano! - Beautiful Seizure around the same period. Does anyone else remembers that?

There’s next to no love for them on spotify though, it makes me sad.

yeah true. though tbh it’s not a record I can deal with that often…it’s pretty intense. not one to listen to casually!

Saw them in Vienna around 2009, stunning live band. Nice guys to chat to as well. Love a bit of Volcano!

tbh Happiness For Lola is pretty much the only good C&C&C song…

god i miss Youthmovies

I haven’t listening to this in ages. I actually (gulp) preferred Good Nature. But I went back and listened because of this thread and aye, it’s so so so good.

Only saw Youthmovies once, in Sneaky Pete’s in Edinburgh on their final tour. Such a good night.

Andrew Mears was involved in this recently, which I love: https://adamgnade.bandcamp.com/album/hello-shitstorm-single-2017

Love this EP, saw them live with 65dos in Leeds (that was a top gig) then saw them a few years later at Leeds festival after Good Nature came out.

Saw 'em with 65dos too. Good times.

Good Nature’s still a classic imo but it’s a shame it sounds like it was recorded in a toilet

(pretty sure I had an argument with @alcxxk about this on old DiS)

(wait - where’s @alcxxk??)

I saw them at the Cluny with 65DoS and Amusement Parks On Fire. Great stuff.

They played at ATP too, I think.

I took these at their final London show:

never seeing C&C&C or youthmovies is up there with my biggest disappointments in music. 2 of my favourite bands. kites could be one of my favourite songs ever, its basically perfect.

Youthmovies were fucking increible live - seeing them for the first time (and hearing Last Night Of Thr Proms) in the ‘barn that shall not be named’ at Truck Festival in 2006, alongside 65dos and Regina Spektor, was fucking mindblowing.

Meanwhile c&c&cs were pretty fucking terrible.

terrible live? or you just didnt like their music?

really bad live
