All time great

(though i imagine this soundtrack has Brian singing it?)

#3

I don’t think it does. They sound like the original versions (as in I am sure i can hear the vocal variation) and it’s basically their second official best-of (the first being the soundtrack to that dreadful Stephen King film something Overdrive).

In fact straight from the Wikipedia’s mouth:

Good to hear!

#6

Maximum overdrive. Great film.

#7

I saw it when I was 15 and thought it was bad. I dread to think how bad it really is now I’m old enough to have correct opinions on things.

#8

I was about the same age and loved it. Pure trash, objectively awful, but it has got emilio estevez fighting lawnmowers and shit, so…

#9

Well it’s a long way, to the shop if you wanna sausage roll

#10

one of the worst “monsters of rock”

#11

And the fucking Green Goblin truck man.
Great film. Great soundtrack.

#12

Highway to Hell is first rate but for footy reasons I can’t go past TNT

#13

Hi guys - AC/DC have some real bangers eh :+1:

But onto the more pressing matter, Maximum Overdrive is an awful, awful film…

#14

Awfully good.

#15

Not ^this…

#16

Think my love for AC/DC is probably the purest form of love I have. They’re just great.

#17

jk - its a very dumb/fun movie when you are a teenage boy and AC/DC rock.

#18

I used to love everything Stephen King so forced myself to like it but even at the time it REALLY annoyed me they gave the truck a face. it could have been so much more effective without the green goblin face. Like the car in Duel. Stupid green goblin face.

I live close to where Bon Scott choked on his own vomit. There’s an unofficial blue plaque.
