Pledge from the last Fall album has that really dreadful mixing style the worst of their recent stuff has had, even though the rest of the album is mixed quite nicely. there are a few ‘alternate’ (shit) mixes only on the vinyl version of the album as well but Pledge seems to be the one exception where the good mix made it to the vinyl and the shit mix ended up on the CD/digital/all other formats version.

Always thought the production on Life’s A Bitch from Illmatic had a completely different feel to the rest of the album.
