Not answering your question exactly. Butā¦
Iāve read book Alien: Out of the shadows. A decent read. Been meaning to go back and listen to the audiobook version.
As for the comics. No idea.

Some of the books are good. Alex Whiteās pair of The Cold Forge and Into Charybdis are very highly regarded. I did really enjoy Phalanx by Scott Sigler, which had an intriguing set up - basically Aliens on a feudal / medieval world.
The other ones Iāve glanced at are all varying degrees of terrible.
Iāve overheard more cohesive and concise criticism from a random person in a kebab shop at 3am.
Canāt believe I nearly spent 30 minutes watching that.

horses for courses, I didnāt even hate the film or agree with all their points (the characters in the original Alien were arguably thinly sketched for example) but their videos are always really funny
Iām not an Alien super nerd, but that image of the Space Jockey was in my imagination for decades. The mystery of this pilot and his cargo was always simmering somewhere in the back of my mind. Similar to the giant/colossal squids that live in the deep oceans which have never been filmed (some have but not to the great sizes they can reach). I was so bitterly dissapointed with how the Space Jockey was portrayed in Prometheus. I remember sitting in the Imax at Waterloo and feeling fairly depressed and bewildered, as you put it, just some tool in a suit.

Yes I think so. The documentary has been knocking around film festivals for a few years but now seems to be on general release.
