I tend not to read or listen to these statements because I mean, has anyone ever fully taken responsibility and not just tried to save face?
no idea where his response stands in comparison to other responses by men who’ve done bad things. maybe he’s just talking around things the same way

very well expressed - that his apology video was absolute bullshit. I suspect he worded it in the way he did to protect himself from a legal standpoint too.

Yeah I just spotted a Channel 5 video come up on my youtube homepage. Nearly a million views too. Might have had a look if it was some sort of explanation of how he’s used the time away to change and make things right but not going to bother if its just
It’s BAU, some stuff with one of hist regular contributors. Took a look at the Reddit and apparently his old crew have left entirely
I was morbidly curious as he is leaning into making a lot of content to do with the border crisis so I was wondering if shining a light on the mistreatment of others was his way to swing public favour; before some of his stuff had a bit of a WTF / circus of life vibe but this is more of a cause.
Watched this video and it’s almost border patrol propaganda, they reiterate several times how illegal the crossing is and that nobody should do it, even US citizens. Then at one point he starts regaling frat boy anecdotes about his time in a detention facility, makes fun of a traumatised young boy from Nepal who was “harshing the vibe”, and then obviously at the end rather than a jail sentence or being forced to leave the country like everyone else he just has a burger and feels good. What is this guy’s deal
I watched these 3 episodes and was struck by how poor of a “journalist” he is. It really came across as someone who didn’t have a clue what they were doing. It wasn’t a faux naivety as a tool. It was just stupidity.

I just spotted All Gas No Brakes on my youtube homepage, looks like he’s bringing it back again. I totally forgot the guy even existed.
I see him pop up every so often - I haven’t investigated but it looks like he’s perhaps seeking refuge with the right? Or he certainly seems right-leaning now.
