How many hours a day do you reckon you look at your phone?
I’ve got a Chrome blocker set to 45 mins but I often bypass it. My average is 2 hours. It doesn’t seem much compared to when I was a teenager on my PC posting on forums until 1am, but as an adult that still feels like too much because I don’t enjoy it. DiS is the only good website.
Don’t really fuck with apps. Tidal and WhatsApp is all I use really
No idea - it tells me once a week, but I’ve often got the screen on with whatever music is playing but I’m not looking at it, so just ignore the totals it gives me.
Currently trying to average out at under 4 hours a day. My usual average is…higher than that.
Got blockers on Insta and Reddit and Discord. Should probably put one on my web browser as well tbh but my wandering brain demands the ability to look stuff up in a heartbeat.
Got a spot in every room to put the phone out of sight in but I don’t actually do that often enough. And I have my fitness watch buzzing whenever I get a whatsapp message or a phone call which doesn’t help.
2 hours per day is a really, really good week for me tbh.
A bad week can be like 8 hours a day somehow.
It’s an ongoing struggle for me to regulate my usage tbh. I’m currently at 4 hours a day this week and I’ve even read literally two full books and been to the cinema one evening. Idk how it’s happening.
Think it usually comes out to about four hours a day, which feels ridiculous. Trying to do less. Made a start by ditching basically all social media. Now it’s just DiS and YouTube holding me back.
usually between 2 and 3 hours a day. It feels like cheating though because I must spend so many more than that on my laptop (in addition to using it for work).
