Anyone else actually watching this? I am, and enjoying it for the most part.
Pros:
- I’ve played a LOT of 5-a-side over the years, nice to see small-side football on TV
- Quality of football is surprisingly excellent. Some astounding bits of skill and ridiculous goals.
- Related to quality, several ex-Prem guys turning up and getting absolutely rinsed. Troy Deeney was so far off the pace that he was reduced to only trying to foul people, and he was still too slow for that mostly. Only Ciaran Clark has been any good.
- “Game-changers” make some fun tweaks, although some just make it a total lottery for a few minutes.

- Commentator does a really good job, overall.
Cons
- Chock-full of YouTube chancers, with all the grating Youtube schtick that comes with them. Awful, one and all. Obviously I record it and fast forward through them, but they’re often in the commentary box.
- John Terry
- Impossible to actually care about any of the teams.
