Expensive day but I tried to get lots of cheaper stuff to spread the money around a bit rather than one or two full price albums

I do wonder what Bandcamp’s long term plan is. For me it’s very clear a huge percentage of music fans love to feel like they’re supporting an artist but are often locked into platforms like Spotify that distribute things in an unfair and non transparent way. There’s a real gap in the market for some kind of ethical streaming/content service and I feel like they’re in the best position to make it happen.
I wish they’d do playlisting TBH. It would be great to send people curated lists of stuff on there you really liked. The only way to do it right now is via Spotify which isn’t great for trying to move people off.
