Ok, I’m out of time and this is as far as I got. Here’s a cheery little ditty to make everyone feel warm and fuzzy - hope it doesn’t suck (too much).
Either way, thanks for picking up from Moker @Gert - it was fun to make time for something creative.
(the soundcloud file is downloadable)
Not this year I’m afraid, no time!
Looking forward to hearing what everyone throws together though : )
Hmm, made a couple of tweaks and reuploaded. Same url, but the widget doesn’t seem to pick it up any more. I’ll try again:
great submissions so far from @anon96483921 @stickboy and @woweezowee
hope everyone else’s juices are oozing and we can squeeze out some more melodies over the coming week!
Hoping to have my submission finished in a day or two…
It’s been a bit of a rush but should have something by Friday!
Might send mine through toniiiioght.
Just emailed a dropbox link to you.
Cheers for taking this on - it’s always a fun little exercise!
nice! I’ll grab it tomorrow morning before I go to work. Attempting to make Christmas-y music makes me feel more festive than any other tradition I think.
@manches and @TVDenimChap looking forward to your entries also!
This is very true. Although my entries are more or less always (with one exception, and a bit of backwards speaking in another one) instrumental, it always gets me thinking about the myriad implications / associations / whatever this season has in a fun and rewarding way.
Also, mine’s probably being pushed for tomorrow bc I shouldn’t let my excitement to share it get in the way of doing a coupla checks on it first. I’ll release another - somewhat different - ten mins of festive music on my Bandcamp a couple of days after that as well, which I’m also quite excited about sharing!
Hark! The bells of an old Yamaha keyboard are ringing
(just made it downloadable, so lemme know if it doesn’t work and I’ll send it)
I did some cover art (and gave it a title, hope no-one minds)
anyone plugging away at their entries, you got 36 hours - doooooooo it
Did you draw this? It’s great!
Absolute Best Bells.
yeah got my watercolours out. thanks! was fun making his face all ruddy.
Great skills!
@Gert Have wetransferred it over, let me know if it doesn’t come through. Not sure if the metadata is showing either but let me know if you need track / artist name.
Not got any artwork together yet but once I do I’ll bung it on Soundcloud too
Nice work. If an old English cathedral was built in Twin Peaks, this is the sound I imagine it would make on Christmas morning.
This description makes me so happy
