Disappointed to hear it’s been crap, haven’t seen any footage but a friend has been watching it on Instagram live this morning and has said pretty much the same as the comments here. Thought we were in for a pure zeitgeist moment a la Kanye in 2011.
Sounds worse than his usual perfunctory live style. Hour late, lip syncing, 10 minute DJ set in the middle, then the curfew and he walked off.
Guess it makes sense for him not to play live if he’s genuinely just bad at it. Still excited for new music from him but after this and his no show to Primavera I can’t imagine ever trying to see him in concert again.
Also - he mentioned a new album but said it’s not there yet.
Would be nice if all that BMW stuff was leading upto Nostalgia Ultra hitting streaming, at least, but I suspect it was just plain old brand synergy…

I’ve seen clips of the songs he did sing and he sounds great (if anxious) - I would just need free tickets to take a chance on going to a show in person, I think.
He’s doing the second weekend at Coachella. Wonder if it’ll be more fully formed, or if it’ll even happen…
