The “winner” for me this month on this poll is probably S.G. Goodman. She’s third here without the big publication reviews that Pulp and Turnstile have received.
I hadn’t heard of her before the votes here and female folky stuff is right up my street. Enjoyed the album a lot on the first listen earlier today.
Yeah fair, that’s a strong showing for S.G. Goodman and it’s such a lovely record. Naturally I want to point people towards the No.4 (and my No.1) McKinley Dixon. I reckon if you weighted voting then that album would receive the highest positions on average.
Damn, knew it’d be close between Turnstile and Pulp, but not that close
Also, calling your albums Never Enough and More, despite placing first and second respectively is just plain ungrateful…
