Your album of the month will get five points, 2nd placed album four points, 3rd placed album three points, 4th placed album two points and 5th one point. If you name only one album I’ll give that five points. If you name two albums I’ll score them with five and four points etc. You get the message.

I saw Haley Heynderickx live once back around 2017 and loved the gig but probably haven’t gone back to her stuff since. Even coming across her new release was fortunate when scrolling my music app as I didn’t see any reviews of it anywhere.

Sharp Pins’ re-release of Radio DDR is my runaway album of the year. I kind of liked this new one. I’ll definitely go back to it but the artist for me is a bit like The Red, Pinks and Purples whose Uncommon Weather was my top pick of 2021. I’ve checked out the artists’ other albums but they unfortunately just haven’t clicked with me.

A pretty quiet month for me. My picks are probably all that I’ve heard this month. I’ve just been catching up with albums of bands I’ve scheduled to see this month and next.

Always a lot of great recommendations from you guys about albums that I’ve missed or overlooked. Not sure what’s out tomorrow. I’ll see what you guys are listening to.

Please forgive any shameless bumps of this thread during the week. I’ll keep this thread open until Sunday 7th December and so you’ll have over a week to listen to tomorrow’s releases if there’s anything out before choosing.

This has to be the best November for releases as far as I can remember.

Super frontloaded for me. That first week was bonkers; these last two weeks have been some of the softest all year.

Black Friday is always about selling box sets and remasters and live albums, unfortunately.
