Got a mention on here a few weeks ago. Was unknown to quite a few folk.

Havenโt seen it but remember the hoohah when it came out. Willing to remain open minded that the actual film makes some sort of sense and makes a worthwhile addition to the social commentary about the aftermath of war, etc, but the synopsis makes for preeetty grim reading, so Iโm unlikely to ever get as far as watching the film to form an opinion one way or the other.
Seems a bit unnecessary on a โlol grimnessโ level to have it dangled in the thread title tbqfhimo. Not like itโs massively offensive or owt. Justโฆ why? I think if I were Serbian in 2024 Iโm guessing Iโd be eyerolling to the max that thatโs the thing that gets hoisted up as a first reference whenever the name of my country gets mentioned.
