Watched the first episode, since I love playing Fallout 3 and Fallout New Vegas. Don’t think this series is for me.

This is so much better than The Last of Us it’s kind of embarrassing. I like how this functions as an extension of the game lore instead of a rehash.
Deeply goofy show but considering how daft the games get in places, that’s a feature not a bug.

Had to Google him as I couldn’t remember where I knew him from and was surprised to learn he also made the Bonfire of the Vanities film, Witches of Eastwick and erotic Angelina Jolie vehicle Original Sin. Classic Philip Price.

Finished this last night. Very entertaining - got the comedic tone just right and all of the three main characters were enjoyable. Liked the switches between time periods and all of the soundtrack. Not played the games, but loved the design of just about everything. That said, there was some de-aging in the final episode which was laughably terrible. Good TV

I properly loved this, just loads of fun, if genuinely disturbing in places. Could have watched another 8 episodes easily.

Finished it now and yep that was mostly decent. I think the next season could be really great.
I do think it’s a bit odd that they blew up both Shady Sands and seemingly New Vegas? Could have got an entire season out of stuff in NV. I’m not sure if they wanted to get rid of videogame locations that were inconvenient to the tv show?
Even though they’ve said the show is canon I’m going to pretend otherwise.
It is definitely canon, just takes place 15 years after Fallout 4
The way for it to make most sense would be Mr House ending of New Vegas, which would also be the most fun option imho.
I must have missed something, new vegas didn’t look like it had been nuked to me. the lucky 38 was still standing in that end shot wasn’t it?
