Anyone here use it or something similar? I know in the past some people who used it a lot. Is it good for the guitar / neck? Are there better alternatives? Should you just change your strings more often? (€€€)?

Yeah, use it loads. Makes strings last longer/feel newer if used fairly regularly and definitely after gigs and rehearsal (or any time you’re sweating on the strings I guess).
Does nothing for the neck afaik; if rosewood/dark then ubiquitous dunlop 65 is the thing I reckon.
Fender does a similar thing to fastfret that’s fine, but the fastfret format is just about perfect in terms of size/design and lasts ages.

Has everybody made the mistake of putting it on a maple fretboard? Nobody does it twice!!!
