I know quite a few people who have accepted over the years (tv: some of my distant acquaintances are doing well) and i fight so hard to not post shit on their social media posts about it.

I get the appeal for self promotion reasons ofc if you’re not already secure in terms of work and opportunities etc but that’s rarely the case.
