love the start when hes flicking between the pickups & playing so delicately and the amp is still trying to feed back cause its so loud, then when he turns the guitar up its just fucking unreal, never heard anyone control and use feedback like that.

Was just listening to this earlier and thinking how much I love Black Francis’ Telecaster tone on it, especially when he starts playing those stabbing chords towards the end

He seemed to be playing Teles a bit less in this period so it really stands out on this
