🎵 How Good Are They Really 🎵 Beyoncé

Let’s get stuck into another one straight away to help get the ball rolling. I’ll keep the Bowie poll open probably until tomorrow.

We’ve done a big-hitting male solo artist, so now let’s cover a female superstar (Destinys Child will feature at a later date in their own vote) Beyoncé then, whaddya reckon?

Best song is obviously Countdown. It’s got more hooks than most albums!

So many genuinely awful songs on that list. Overrated.

I respect what she does but I dont think I have ever enjoyed a song of hers aside from Countdown

I’ve gone with a 4. There are several Beyoncé songs that are amongst some of the finest pop/R&B music ever produced. There are a fair few I’m not particularly keen on, but the strength of the good stuff bumps the score up I think. Irreplaceable is the best song of this century so far.

That is an opinion I am totally on board with.

She’s incredibly talented, but mostly leaves me cold as a singer and performer, but I really like a lot of her stuff particularly on whichever album was before Lemonade. Crazy in Love in undeniably one of the best pop songs ever.
