Also Iāve only just realised that Fred says āMy G-generationā in the style of Roger Daltry. Always thought it was āMy Digi-generationā
My generation
- The who
- Limp Biscuit
- Please, please no

Pendulum had that Prodigy thing of somehow crossing over, in part due to their associations - Like I think the guys had backgrounds in metal and they named their dubstep project after a Deftones song - but also by being quite āheavyā live, with guitars and stuff.
But I also seem to recall that the inclusion of both The Prodigy and Pendulum was pretty controversial with the Billy Bullet Belt crowd; this is a demographic who consider Biffy Clyro to be Not Rock Enough so you can imagine how they felt about ādanceā music
There is now. The other guy got involved in some⦠unfortunate stuff on chatroulette. They often appear with the guy from Yellowcard on second guitar but are officially a four-piece
EDIT: Oh, i see this has been covered. Steve Klein released an extremely lengthy statement giving his side of the story recently and it is⦠detailed.

this is a good take
this can go across the board for late 90s pop punk bands, Iām sure Blink-182 singing āGoing Away to Collegeā is the same
Also wonder whether Brandon Boyd (45) still sings āA decade ago/I never thought I would be/23 on the verge of spontaneous combustion/Woe is meā
Iām sure Blink-182 singing āGoing Away to Collegeā is the same
see also: Bowling For Soup singing āHigh School Never Endsā
also their song 1985, if released today with the same time gap would be called 2002
Also wonder whether Brandon Boyd (45) still sings āA decade ago/I never thought I would be/23 on the verge of spontaneous combustion/Woe is meā
I also think this every time I listen to āWhatās My Age Againā by Blink-182 and they say āNobody likes you when your 23ā¦ā
Coolio is no longer 23 and definitely lived to see 24.
The thing is Hoppus was already 27 when they put that song out so I think he escapes on a technicality
Werenāt all of these bands miles older than they were marketed as at the time anyway. Like Fred durst and blink one hundred and eighty two were in their thirties when they were singing about being 22 anyway.
absolutely dreadful but with some undeniable banging moments. boiler is an underrated tune.
1985 is a cover
Ah good point!
guys can you stop slagging off New Found Glory please
Just remembering when I used to have guitar lessons with this guy who was like an amazing classic guitarist who could do spanish technical stuff and all that and really tried to teach the fundamentals and how every week Iād just like bring in a CD of some shitty nu-metal or pop-punk and be like ācan you teach me this one please?ā and heād sigh and work out the power chords or the down-tuning or whatever, take the cheque and go again the next week.
I reckon it would have been extremely funny being that man tbh
However, @Mistersteve is correct in that the Foo Fighters song on there is one of their very best, and sadly never featured on one of their albums.
gonna assume this song is about the road from woking to guildford
