I’ve given Iggy 5 in part for managing to stay alive all this time and for his incredible leathery chest.

Going to abstain rather than try to balance the music with the being a paedophile into a score

Most of his music is turgid shite, although I can definitely appreciate how important his early stuff was. Didn’t know he was a nonce either but if aggpass says he is that’s enough for me. How much should I let something that happened a half century ago affect my judgement? I’m not quite sure.

2/5 for his advertising work.

Spelt age “agw” by mistake.

You should search instead for Iggy Pop agw and see what comes up

Have heard the passenger and no fun, I wanna be your dog and lust for life. Abstaining, but not a fan

Didn’t know about noncing, what’s the gist?

The stooges were genuinely thrilling stuff. Some decent solo tunes.

Raw Power is astonishingly good. Not the Bowie mix though, Christ.

Always assumed I didn’t like him but heard The Idiot recently and was absolutely blown away. Think everyone believes a little too easily that all the genius on that record is Bowie and Bowie alone. The noncing is obviously indefensible though.

The Stooges, short career but touching on perfection 4.5 narrowly rounded down to 4.

Iggy two and a half great albums then a lot of sort of ok stuff. 3.

Not crazy about Iggy or The Stooges but there are some decent tunes I’m gonna go for a 3-3

Both had some great songs but I never clicked with either.

The Stooges are one of the great rock bands, 3 brilliant, game changing albums and done… Or they would be if they hadn’t ruined a near-perfect run with a shite, misguided comeback. Going for 4/5. Couldn’t give two hoots about Iggy Pop’s solo stuff beyond the odd track, and yeah some dodgy stories about him and he’s a sellout which doesn’t fit well with the proto-punk ethos of those Stooges records. For a few decent tunes 2/5.
