Australia was really good and I liked Toby a lot more here, she’s much less vanilla than she seemed in NZ. Adam getting a bogey and counting to 30 mins in a single episode is the most impressive feat I’ve seen on the show.
Hide and Seek Switzerland was great, but the rules they’re using in Japan and UK are definitely an improvement. Ben’s playground hiding spot was the highlight

Episode 6 of UK Hide and Seek is great!
Me looking at the 15 mins left of a 50 min episode (usually too long to be part 1 of 2) and thinking “oh no they must catch Ben 
but there’s not much time left so it must happen very quickly??” NOPE. FAKE OUT. very excited that there’s a whole second half of his run after two disastrous attempts
I think this season is probably the least iconic of the H&S seasons overall (what a high bar though) and they do need to slightly tweak some of the mechanics, but I still love H&S

there’s a Discord channel for UK-based Hide and Seek games (and other Jet Lag inspired formats), they link to a few international servers on there as well. there isn’t one for Iberia atm sadly!
The final two episodes of this series were brilliant.

I quite liked Snake, wasn’t perfect but nowhere near the worst. Generally I think it has gotten better as time has gone on.

Very solid start to the season, feels like a classic format/set-up. Guest seems a bit bland so far but hopefully he warms up.

Cat challenge was very satisfying to watch
“Those chips, they’re so close I can almost taste them” “They are actually sort of a 25 minute walk away” “That’s close enough for me to taste them” “Yeah, you have an incredible sense of taste” made me laugh out loud. Badam are so wonderful.

Enjoying this series quite a bit. Glad they’ve come up with a new format with location specific challenges. None of the challenges have been all-timers yet (two episodes in), but most have been fun from a vicarious tourist perspective. Do wish they’d lay off go to McDonald’s but in Taiwan (!) stuff, but you can make Ben and Adam do anything and it’s winning viewing.
Conversely, Sam’s mate might be the most non-entity guest they’ve had since the lad off Circumnavigation. Feel like he’s capitulated to every decision Sam has made within seconds.
Just watched ep 4 on Nebula. Starting to get more strategic! Really enjoying Amy’s challenges and starting to find Michael kind of endearing.
