Will it be better than this?

Yes

Could go down the Kid Cudi route and rip off Weezer better than Weezer do.

bet it’s worse than Speedin Bullet 2 Heaven but people will pretend its a masterpiece

Did you like Kids See Ghosts, @TKC?

I thought it was quite good yeah but I’ve only heard it a couple of times so I can’t say I’m overly familiar with it

Kinda feels like Kanye helps him distil the elements that were good in Speeding Bullet into something listenable to me. But I really enjoy the fact that mega-fanboys of that record exist, regardless

I’ll have to give it another go!

I do love SB2H though. I think it’s a genuinely interesting record, and people were easy to mock it cause of Cudi’s voice and ‘lol a rapper doing rock’ . It’s way too overlong and the Beavis and Butt-head bits are weird, but I like how much he put into it

He’s on the new Selena Gomez record too which I need to hear

Hopefully he also does a show or two inside of a building while he’s here. Doubt he will now though :disappointed:

Yeah I’d even travel if he did a smaller indoor gig but not that likely, innit?

Aye, doubt it.

Seems more likely for Glastonbury now

£78.95 without fees for bog standard going up to £299 for vip, it looks like.

Great. Plus I can get a big, long nap in while James Blake is on.

The assumption is that the new album will be out by Hyde Park, right? Would consider dropping £80 on seeing him if it’s really good (likely, tbf) but probably not going to take the chance without knowing.

He’ll still have four of the best albums of the last decade to draw upon, even if it isn’t.

Sort of - there’s nothing wrong with Damn but it was a fair step down for me and the last tour was very heavy on material from it.

If the new album’s similar quality then I’d probably rather not spend £80 to go to Hyde Park is all.

Yeah, tbf, I’ve not actually been able to make one of his shows yet, so I cannae comment.
