Kindle book deals/discount thread (Rolling)

And another one for today:

Oranges are Not The Only Fruit by Jeanette Winterson

Haven’t read this for twenty years but remember it being a brilliant novel about growing up in a repressive evangelical household and coming to terms with sexuality.

There’s even a reasonable chance I’ll read this soon as my youngest has chosen it for one of their English coursework texts and it’ll be good to refresh my memory so I can chat to them about it!

second omnibus bargain of the day - another outrageous £2.99 spend, but you get fourteen novels and 6500+ pages for that.

Ex-policeman Bernie Gunther thought he’d seen everything on the streets of 1930s Berlin. But then the Nazis came to power, and Bernie realised the most dangerous criminals were the ones in charge.Follow the tough, sharp-witted detective as he investigates serial killings, political assassination, blackmail and war crimes in Germany and beyond

Have read this fantasy trilogy a while ago and really enjoyed it. Bought it again for my kindle cos my kids wandered off with the paper copies and who knows where they are now.

Goddamn it, this is on my wish list and still missed it, it’s back up to £11.99 now, grr!

It was just a daily deal unfortunately. I had somehow missed it in my checking of the daily deals, and only noticed it in a separate email alert for him.

I think Sir Keir has broken the daily deals page. His book was on offer yesterday (sorry for not mentioning it), but it’s still not been replaced with any new daily deals today, which is unheard of in my entire career of checking daily deals (for the past 18+ months).
