Yeah, it’s the Ally Pally theatre, which reopened at the end of 2018
The full version used to be on YouTube but I think it must have disappeared? Hugely frustrating, as it’s amazing and that ending to Carrion is not really recorded properly anywhere else.

It’s actually remarkable to me how terrible he is at presenting, and especially interviewing, after all these years. How has he not improved? And why do they keep doing these weird 45 second micro-interview-chat bits when they are invariably the most awkward thing you’ve ever seen that artist involved in on camera?

watched this again just now. they really were great for that first album.
As someone who wants as many drummers as possible, this was really fun to witness in the audience even though I’m not a massive fan
I don’t mind the new set up, actually. It feels a bit more intimate, although having all the audience upstairs is a little weird!

Christ I just looked up the lineup for the episode I went to. Gnarls Barkley (who were the best!), Snow Patrol, James Morrison. Dreadful.

CMAT posted quite a sweet video last week of Jools coming to their dressing room to say hello and they got him to join in on their pre-show ritual
Also had Sunday Brunch on in the background the other day and they were interviewing Sports Team who said they got Jools to do a guest appearance on their new album and they had to pay quite a big fee for him but he gave them all the money back
