Watched the first series and will probs watch the rest at some point, found it sweet and funny.
Is definitely made for a non-autistic gaze though, the way it’s edited and the use of music designed to heighten the awkwardness of interactions, infantilises the people in it a bit

I haven’t watched it but this is the impression I’ve got from all I’ve heard about it. And the show name massively gives me the ick.
I mainly love the show because of how much their family members love and support them.

I dunno, I kinda don’t like them. Every conversation they have is ridiculous. I feel like he’ll often be making a joke or being sarcastic and they take it incredibly the wrong way and act like he’s about to have a meltdown. And then because they’ve set the path that direction Connor thinks the response should flow that way too.
I feel like they probably know more about the nuances of that than us tbf to them!
