Here’s a recent playlist that we’ve made containing traditional and modern electronic music from the Middle East and beyond.

Featuring Omar Souleyman, Bachar Mar-Khalifé, Debruit and more. We’d love to hear your thoughts and would like to get more suggestions of great music with Arabic / Middle Eastern roots suggested in the thread.

This takes traditional middle eastern melodic and vocal patterns and combines with elements of drone and Emeralds-style arpeggios.

All we know about JIMH currently is the collaboration album with Suuns, so we’ll have to investigate the back catalogue further, starting with your recommendation here.
