Another one that’s up there when it comes to ROI l is the documentary Tarnation. Cost $220 editing together existing footage on a mac and made close to $650,000 at the box office.
American Graffiti (budget $777,000) made $140 million
“$200,000”

Can only imagine the feel of producing a game pretty much alone that went on to make over $30million.
Which film do you think sold more posters?
- Pulp Fiction
- Betty Blue
- Other (please detail below)
Probably something like Queen Greatest Hits. Biggest selling album in the uk of all time. Cost nothing to make outside of artwork and manufacture.
Reckon Metropolis, Jaws & Scarface are up there …maybe Breakfast at Tiffanys… wouldn’t surprise me if Pulp Fiction was the best selling of all time though
Probably one of the least shitty ways you can become stinking rich too
Oh, yeah. Scarface is a great shout.
You think? I was a Star Wars daft bairn and, despite the mountain of shite I had, I don’t remember any posters. They are smart though.
The Matrix - cost 60m, grossed half a billion. Pretty tidy.
Ghostbusters, another fucking money machine!
