Please join Music League to share your favourite song from each month of the year for voting fun! Choose your January 2024 song by Tuesday 15th October, 2pm UK time.
You would need a Spotify account to play (as far as I’m aware).
Each week you will select a song that had been released in a specific month of 2024 (the first week’s round will be January, the second week will be February… until we get up to December at the end of the year). It can be a single released that month, or a track from an EP or album released that month. You can search for the newmusicfridayaotm tags on DiS to get reminders of what was released each week/month if that helps.
You will then have 6 days to listen to everybody’s picks in an auto-generated Spotify playlist, and then you will use the app/web link above to vote and share out your (12?) points to your favourite songs. You can add comments if you like. Save any negative comments for the Smashing Pumpkins song that will appear.
Results and league tables are then updated at the end of each round, and then you have 24 hours to pick your next song, and then repeat!
There’s also this spreadsheet if you wanted to see every song that’s been included in all of the main previous DiS leagues, in case you didn’t want to pick any of the same songs again, but it’s up to you! Dis Music League Song Submissions - Google Sheets

I like this idea for a league! Haven’t listened to nearly enough new music this year so I’m fully expecting to score badly, but I look forward to hearing everyone else’s picks as a bit of a catch-up on the year
