šŸŽ· Music League 4 - Airwolf v Blue Thunder 🚁 - Round 11 - Punctuation in song title

Got a song I really want to play, but there’s not a chance in hell anyone will give it any points.

Sometimes kinda fun to just make a bunch of people listen to a song you like that they wouldn’t have otherwise.

I might look for something with misused apostrophes to submit

Got the opposite- thought I had found a very good song for this round unimpeachably DIS friendly, catchy etc but the band have missed off an apostrophe that should be there.

allowed, i won’t vote unless for it unless there’s slim pickings with the other choices though

I’m happy with allowing any title that is punctuated. If it came down to two equal tracks I’d split it on the better use of punctuation but I’d vote for a better track with a solitary comma than a lesser track with multiple varied punctuation marks.

I thought voting by song titles was a running meme and people were judging by the music content but is this actually not true?

I think as long as the song qualifies for the round it’s based on musical worth, but if it feels like a bit of a copout I’m voting elsewhere.

it’s just like not voting for a band who’s appeared too many times before even if you like the song, or only voting for songs that are new to you etc - gotta have some way to narrow down the list!

I’ve done a round in mine of classical music. Someone’s chosen the Champions League theme.

They’re not getting a point from me, based on the fact there’s 1500 years of music to choose from.

Haha! I think I’d be a bit ā€œHmmm, Hovis theme or Nesun Dorma?ā€

One of my shortlisted songs is a by previously unfeatured band which has one single piece of punctuation. I hope that will be enough…

This round was my pick, and I’m already regretting it as a result of all the pedantry

In all honesty, picked it because I thought it would give lots of choice and make for a fun and varied playlist, and also cos there’s a tune I’ve been wanting to play since this began which I’ve never found the right round for.

Reading between the lines here - emojis are allowable as punctuation.

Just found a song with four different sorts of punctuation that sadly isn’t very good.

Both enjoying and fearing the pedantry. It’s like refusing to vote for dogs in the animal round.

I found a track that has 2 different recordings and the newer one has an extra comma, like finding coins under the sand at the beach

I hope you fucks appreciate the agony of this round

Still no idea what to submit for this.
