Also guys, this might be a big ask, but has anybody put together a list of the songs played in the pre-season? It wasnā€™t a problem for me, but my song for the last round had been featured on there too (by Girl Band), and it would help to make Music League as varied as possible.

Yeah, I had been umming and ahhā€™ing between that cover (of a song/band that I liked but no-one else would know) and a couple of covers of The National or Arcade Fire. Maybe I could of scored heavily with those points instead.

This is the one round where I had a specific song nailed on to definitely play as soon as the themes were announced. And now today Iā€™ve changed my mind and picked something else. Slightly concerned that there are recordings on Spotify under two different versions of the artistā€™s name, so thereā€™s potential for a double pick, but if that happens just vote for mine instead of the other one, okay?

I wouldnā€™t worry too much about the pre season songs. Just think of them as a goal or a red card in a friendly. Doesnā€™t count towards anything. Plus thereā€™s plenty of people in this league that didnā€™t do the pre season league.

Of course I canā€™t talk about the others who may have their own rules haha

Sure, thatā€™s OK! I was a bit mortified when I saw it at first but pretty much every comment on the song was overwhelmingly positive. Youā€™re right, it doesnā€™t count towards anything. However, I did go back over all of the results earlier this week to ensure I donā€™t repeat anything. :slight_smile:

I purposefully decided not to add the pre-season to the song list as it wasnā€™t a full league and there were quite a few people who didnā€™t join so it would be a shame for them to miss out on some of the great tracks used.

Sort of on topic.

In my own Music League Iā€™ve done a Beatles round, so every song is The Beatles. A couple of people have messaged me today saying itā€™s giving them the ā€˜a song from this album has already been pickedā€™ warning, but ā€˜Submitā€™ is greyed out and not clickable.

Do you reckon this is a problem with the site, or could it be to do with how many from the artist/album have already been submitted? 29 already submitted, so weird this is suddenly happening.
