Spotify has a new feature , it can create a playlist of the first 20 tracks you listened to. Mine goes back to 2013 , & the first track is a 22 minute remix of Autobahn by Kraftwerk ! Followed by Smoke on The Water - Deep Purple , then Because The Night - Patti Smith , and a rogue one I don’t remember at all, Cissy Strut - The Meters. Then it’s a Bob Mould/Sugar deep dive.

Don’t have Spotify anymore but I have a very vivid memory of the first time I tried it on my PC in 2009. I listened to the first School of Seven Bells album. And Beautiful Freak by Eels (then bought the CD).

Not showing for me but I used the prompted playlist to try do the same. I created multiple accounts in the early days to avail of free trials it’s only 10 years since I stopped doing that. As a result, my playlist isn’t too interesting. Would have to track down my original account.
It’s in the “Prompted by us; made by you” section of the app on the home screen. No idea about the desktop version.

Now I’ve Got a Witness by the Rolling Stones, followed by Love Is Strong, Bitch, I Got The Blues and Sister Morphine.
First change of artist then with the first six tracks of Jefferson Airplane’s Surrealistic Pillow, then Tommib Help Buss by Squarepusher, Hong Kong Garden (Strings Intro) by Siouxsie and the Banshees, then I listened to Sufjan Stevens’ The Avalanche, an outtakes album from the Illinois album.
Not sure I recognise all of those as my choices, think some of those have come from flatmates.

My first 10 tracks were the first 10 tracks of Beirut’s Gulag Orkestar on July 18, 2011.
Updated to 20 tracks, I followed that up with WHY?’s Alopecia.

Never heard of what it says was my first play, but since this feature uses AI it probably made it up.
I’ve just updated Spotify on my phone, I can now see the ‘Prompted by us’ section but it doesn’t contain a playlist of my first plays
The first two are slightly obscure tracks that I don’t have anywhere else.
After a bit more of this, it looks like I listened to the first Asobi Seksu album.
