Iām about half way through my first listen and itās really good. I wasnāt sure of the idea of recording it on cassette/reel-to-reel as I didnāt get on with the time The National did a similar thing, but itās perfect for these songs.

Put it on for the drive up to Sheffield to take my daughter back to Uni. Unfortunately we both looked at each other and thought the same thing. Itās been recorded on a phone.
Put Great Grandpa on instead!
The sound fidelity varies HUGELY throughout the album, the majority of it sound amazing, and the cassette-sounding stuff is a stylistic thing for certain bits

Assuming this comes to the UK (which Iām sure it will) I might try and make more than one date, which I basically never do, theyāre just one of the best live bands going
