Umpteenth album by a highly prolific Latvian producer who my bestie put me onto last year. Very listenable IDM/ambient, like a bedroom version of µ-Ziq.
I made noise*. Inspired by techno and electronic experimental stuff and my brain worms. Digital sounding mad noisy experiments from the East coast of the UK. Digital and tape available.
*I’m not sure it’s even noise but it’s not really music either.
Clark - We Bury the Dead
Clark brought us the “return to form” album Steep Stims in November, but he’s not done with film scores and today drops one for ann Australian arthouse zombie film.
DIIV have added their live version of my favourite album from 2024 to streaming, along with all the Intermissions, which probably make more sense with the videos themselves. The video version’s still available to buy or rent at www.boiledalive.com. I’m not sure if this is a recording of a full album run through, but I’d have preferred it if they’d done the show they toured, including the songs they played from other albums, but still nice to have this as a companion piece, I guess.
loopcinema - My-Lovely-Yellow-Kombi
Her LOOP:GLAMOUR was one of my favorite albums of last year and while that felt like rapidly hopping between rooms of a raging nonsensical Brazilian house party, this is a far more relaxed pace. Or a different drug, perhaps. 6 long joyous tracks that take their time unfolding and following their own psychedelic logic. Hypnotic and dense.
Huh, disappeared off bandcamp but it’s on streaming.
Since she doesn’t appear to be on BC at all (her album last year wasn’t on there either), I wonder if someone made a fake account there to scam some sales.
