I dunno, but it’s not like the 2 and 7 are remotely close to each other either, so no idea what I was up to there. Soz.

My friends band released a new single on Monday.

@rich-t it’s the friend you met when we came down to Winchester a few years back.
@hippy_smell is also a member nowadays too.

Have a listen, I think it’s one of the best things they’ve done

Ex Nosferatu D2 amongst others.

Only thing on my radar today:

Rafael Anton Irisarri – Points of Inaccessibility

Some more heavy drones from one of the best in the bizz.

Edit: actually, much more uplifting and less heavy than his usual sound, including some lovely wordless vocals from Karen Vogt.

Luckily that’s not taken hold in our house, yet. We may get it soon though

Alice Costelloe - Move On With The Year

Debut from London born singer-songwriter. Mellotrons and synth led art pop in the vein of the dreamier sides of Cate le Bon and Julia Holter. Sounding good.

Sarah Nixey - Sea Fever

Fourth solo album from ex-Black Box Recorder vocalist, Sarah Nixey. Slowish hazy art pop with her captivating breathy singing style.

Despite it sounding like everything I normally like, I just didn’t click with their debut. Enjoying this one a lot more so far.
