Icelandic indie folk guy. This is the first album where he’s written his own English lyrics and it shows – on first listen it’s way more engaging than some of his previous English albums, and the sound production is really nice. Also banjos! Steel guitar!
Inventive, charmingly unusual indie-pop/art-rock (a bit difficult to pigeonhole) from Japan. Loved their last album (with Million Wish Collective) and this one sounds good so far. Sounds a bit more stripped-back, less intense and more playful maybe. Occasional bagpipes and rockier sections.
Intimidatingly prolific female Central American artist Victoria assumingly makes more dreamy black metal that sounds like Cocteau Twins at times and sheer hell at others. This may actually be a collab but im not sure
Quirky alt pop singer and fave artist of Chappell Roan drops her debut album. The EP a couple of years ago and singles are all great, so I’m expecting good things
