🐷🐸 New releases 16/08/24 🐸🐷

This is absolutely fantastic. The song about someone being disappointed he’s called Greg in particular is :fire:

This is the main one for me. As well as Darren Hayman the others members are Joely Smith (of adults & Fresh), and Giles Barrett and Will Connor of Tigercats.

Good review here:

Shameless self promotion, but, I made these two songs last year and @BodyInTheThames helped make them sound extra sparkly. Finally got around to putting them on the internets.

Wishy - Triple Seven

Terrible album cover aside, this has the potential to be really good. Big, fuzzy indie rock.

Nah, have heard the name about a fair bit, but it’s the first time I’ve listened. That song is great, definitely a bit more in the Divine Comedy mould than the new stuff.

Hiroshi Watanabe and Ryoma Sasaki - The Bridge of Sounds 2

Electronic. Split EP between the 2 Japanese producers/DJs.
Hiroshi Watanabe is always worth a listen and this is no exception.

I had the incorrectly mastered, way too loud CD version of this back in the day - got so used to how it sounded I always found listening to the “correct” version really strange. Not sure how I’ll react to this reissue!

This one’s really hitting the spot for me today. Where would be a good place to go next in her back catalogue?
