Kathryn Williams - Mystery Park

Acoustic singer-songwriter. Kathryn Williams’ last solo album was one of the best of her career imo, so very excited for this one too, her 15th.

Will do

Night Tapes is the record I earmarked today. Last year they had some of the most infectious, ethereal singles I can remember in ages- hope they live up to the hype.
London based trio doing sort of trip hop / dreampop. Like a lost videograme soundtrack, Grimes if she recorded in Silent Hill.

Night Tapes - polar//polarites

Great dub techno with an insane roster of producers from Paul St. Hilaire. Playing on the timeless w/the Artists which he featured on & came out 24 years ago!

And another instant Principe classic from Xexa. Gorgeous, inventive downtempo stuff.

Kate Bush - Best of The Other Sides

Art pop, by the best to do it. Collection of B-sides and non-album tracks. Originally released as part of the 2018 Remastered Box Set which is no longer available.

Notes about some of the tracks on Kate Bush’s website.

Sprints - All That Is Over

Dublin post-punk indie rock. Their first album was terrific; they’ve raised the bar for their second judging by the four tracks released prior to today, especially Rage which I really love.

The Cords - The Cords

Rather lovely C86-esque jangly indie pop from Grace and Eva Tedeschi, sisters from Greenock.

Geese - Getting Killed

New record from American indie rock guys. Frontman’s a great lyricist who really has it. This follows on his amazing solo debut from last year.
