NFL Week 15- Covid Returns

WHAT.A.GAME. ladies and gentleman. Brandon Staley’s analytics come back to haunt him again. Literally should have kicked a field goal at least three times. Deserves the loss.

Dunno. Think going for it on 4th and goal from inside the 5 should be an absolute no brainer every time (unless you’re 2 down with seconds left or whatever).

One bad play call, one bad bit of execution but the decision making is sound and will win them more games long term

I think if you’ve just missed one and are 3 points down or like 4points up, I would kick the points (obviously depending on time etc.)

Complete disagreement but i guess Im old school. Would take the points every time.

FAO mediocre QB fans: Nick Mullens is starting for the Browns tomorrow.

blocked punt TD! beautiful

Carson Wentz 5/12, 58 yards. Winner winner chicken dinner.

The Panthers are playing with no recognised kicker, good times.

Utterly baffling call, even if it was better executed it’s pretty much the worst down and distance to try a screen of any description. A better throw would’ve been a pick 6.

Can’t really understand how there’s no one else in the team who has never taken a kick before

If it was on target, that looked like it was going to be a pick 6

Just let the punter have a go. Seem to recall Johnny Hekker kicking field goals for the Rams a few years ago.

Exactly, surely he’s at least done some kicking at least when he was in College

Switched to the most competitive looking game after another sad Panthers drive, so hello Texans v Jaguars.

What’s going on in Detroit?

Even I’ve given up on watching Lions games so I couldn’t tell you

how can a punter not make a field goal, absolutely absurd

Did you see the kind of open tryout they had before the game they just showed on Redzone? There was some excitingly dreadful kicking going on.

Was quite something, the ball was going in some very improbable directions.

(On a more serious note it’s fun to find yet another situation for which Matt Rhule had not prepared for in the slightest).
