Not that there’s any shortage of damning evidence against Nathaniel Hackett but Lovie Smith managed to rally the Texans to a comeback win against the playoff chasing Titans this weekend. The only thing the Broncos do with any enthusiasm these days is yell at one another.

A relief to everyone I’d have thought, rare you see someone so totally out of their depth in such a high profile job. When i say rare, I of course mean outside of the NFL because Jeff Saturday was appointed this very month.

Derwin James hit last night was completely unacceptable, rightly kicked out of the game. With everything we know about concussions and CTE, the players somehow still can’t be trusted to do right by each other.

Josh Dobbs has a legitimately intetesting story and is one of those rare players for whom entering the NFL was probably a poor career choice given his other options.
