Kinda annoying how hard it is to get hold of stuff like these, isn’t it - particularly when you see scalpers boasting about having a pallet load in their garage or something.
Think next month on card market I’ll be trying to complete the basics from Chaos Rising and see if I can’t pick up some Scorbunny and Charmander full arts.

Yeah it’s really galling, just as bad was one shop I had a pre order notification for and they were selling it straight away at scalper-type prices rather than thr £14.99 RRP. Can’t win, especially if you really can’t get to places in person so easy.
Sucks to not be able to have a chance at new things, just have to remind myself how many amazing older cards are out there and easy to get on cardmarket. And I do love a good rummage and search around to pick and put together want lists then finding a good seller to get value… I do love this hobby

Got some new cards arriving over the next week! Stuff towards Chaos Rising, and my individual pokemon sets.
Also stoped in at a nearby card shop last night and picked up a full art Scorbunny, plus a Sobble promo that’s got Scorbunny in the art (there’s a scorbunny and gooky version too that I’ll look to get)
Will get some photos once other bits have arrived.

It’s so easy to buy more cards when the common ones are pennies (obviously the gorgeous Ludicolo was pounds, but not many), about halfway on my Pokopiadex collection now

Found a fairly new artist I really like - Nakamura Ippan
Picked up a couple cards already, going to try collect theirs hoping they keep working and they’ll be more
Really love the whole moods of the backgrounds and the trxtures of their plants especially

Tempted to do an artist page with that Ludicolo at some point. Almost all their cards are lovely. Came across the Spewpa online last week too and think that’s massively underrated by the community - It’s not on my wishlist yet, but I can see me looking for one in the future.
And yeah - 2p commons/uncommons on cardmarket is great… most of my orders have been one or two full arts and then topping up with the 2-5p cards they have that I want.
Waiting for 3 more deliveries due week and then I’ll share some pics!

Yeah, this is mostly how I do it - find a main card I want that is a full art or else maybe a bit rarer because of age or some other factor and then see what else a seller has on the low end of price as I’m already paying them postage. I’ve got super organised with my wants lists so it’s quite streamlined process now, though I’ll still try have a browse for fun too so I can discover new things.
Not that I need to discover more, I have plenty of collections I’m hunting down cards for between mine and what R is after already

Got lucky with two packs of Perfect Order and got a Spewpa today! Saw a Greninja box in the wild today, so picked it up. Nothing useful in the other packs unfortunately, although it’s bulked up my Chaos Rising spares.
