Ouch, that’s quite the increase. They went on sale in July last year. Going to have to stick it on my CC and pay off at the end of the month when I get paid again.

Remember when VIP early birds were €150?!?

Basically works out only a tenner more, for anyone paying in bri-ish paands, though, due to the favourable exchange rate

Wonder who they’ll get for headliners now they’ve picked all the wimmin.

Don’t think they can repeat this year’s trick, everyone was complaining that no obvious headliners had emerged in ages, then three came along at once and they landed all of them.

Do think they’ll get Addison Rae, wouldn’t be surprised by mbv, almost certainly some of their bread and butter acts like Tim Impala’s One Man Wonder Show

Feels like they wouldn’t do Wolf Alice/CMAT again so soon, but given both will have new albums by then which they barely played anything off this time - could be options.

Lorde, David Byrne, Kneecap if they aren’t in jail?

gotta do more rap next year again, Doechii maybe

Hmm. Last year I paid this amount and it will be a lot more than £10 extra this year.

Fair enough, I thought it cost £190 at rates this year, but paid in euros anyway

Assuming a €15 booking fee, the total will be more like €260 for the early bird for 2025 ticket holders.

Guess I was adding the booking fee

What’s the accommodation with this thing? Is it a hotel/Airbnb and then walk in kind of deal?

Yes.

Alright fine I’ll go

Airbnb could be a shaky bet - they cancelled upwards of 60,000 units this year and the government are cracking down on them

Oh yeah I’m never getting an Airbnb again meself, I’m done

Ok - here is my wish-list for next year

Realistic - David Byrne, Paramore, Massive Attack, MBV (these should probs go in the below column), Tame Impala, Pulp, Cloth, Great Grandpa, Sharon Van Etten, Fever Ray, Cindy Lee, Rival Consoles, The Armed, TWIABP, Nine Inch Nails, MGMT, Hotline TNT, M83, Perfume Genius, Deafheaven, Phoebe Bridgers

Unrealistic (one can dream, ey?) - The Cure, Boards Of Canada, Hans Zimmer. Maybe Lady Gaga

Will definitely play (sadly) - Addison Rae, Lorde (apologies - I don’t get it), a big daft dance act (David Guetta or Skrillex again), popluencers like Benson Boone, Clairo and/or JJ Abrahms daughter

Yup. Accommodation prices have gone up massively in Barça (which has stopped us going again) but if you stick a booking in now you should get something reasonably priced.

Would love to go back but my wife has agreed to the halfway house that is Porto. Will still be great.

Lorde feels inevitable, she plays during every album cycle, and similar to Charli, they stuck with her through her slight downturn, so I’m sure she’s had it pencilled in for ages. Doechii would make a lot of sense if she’s still touring, but I guess she might be working on/launching her album next year.

Don’t see David Byrne doing it at all, but one can hope.

i thought DB’s tour dates included summer 2026, which was way off oops
