Let me know how this is, I’m super tempted for Glasgow as I figure I’ll never see the real thing and it’s their best album.

It surprises me that it almost never gets rated as such. Not sure I’ve ever seen an R.E.M. album ranking that puts it top. So many bangers though.

That was AMAZING. Anyone thinking of going to one of the upcoming dates who hasn’t got a ticket yet - get one. You won’t regret it. But go for a wee before they come on because they played for over two hours with hardly a break.

Michael Shannon’s voice is incredibly powerful. His ‘I’m sorry’ part on So Central Rain was breathtaking (spoilered in case people don’t want to risk knowing one of the songs they play after the main album).

I don’t know how to link to post like the cosh did but i also put it top up thread. What if We Give it Away is a bit boring and Just A Touch is a bit much, but otherwise it’s so invigorating. Love it. I find it staggering that none of These Days, Cuyahoga or I Believe were singles.
