Just remembered that I got rid of my broad band last month.
Is there any option at all that I can play this without having to get another broad band account? Would I be able to download it at my girlfriends place?

I preordered it but I still haven’t finished AC Odyssey so while it’ll be ready tonight, I’m wary of tarting it because I do want to finish AC and worry that I’ll get absorbed by this. And then Fallout 76 is coming too.

First time being Switch only I’ve felt like I’m really missing out on something. Will end up getting a PS4 at Christmas just play this I think.

Installing while I’m reading that article. Bloody hell it just sounds brutal and not far removed from a sweat shop. Surely employers looking after their employees is not only the ethical path but also reaps the most rewards. Fuck capitalism.

This game has a VERY deliberate pace to it, which I appreciate but it will not be for everybody. It’s actually an extremely relaxing game once you get out of the prologue.
So far I’ve been in 2 gun fights, The rest of the time I’ve just been greetin’ town folk as I’m new to town, helping a drunk stranger get home, did a spot of shopping and hunting. The game doesn’t really throw you into high stakes all that often, at least not yet. (Though there are some parts early on designed to teach u the mechanics)
The characters are really well written as well.
RDR1 was just a chill game. Missus used to enjoy watching me trot around and meet and greet people. Looking forward to getting stuck into it tonight
Does it have the usual Rockstar cast of ‘wacky’ and ‘hilarious’ off-the-wall characters? Because those always massively take me out of the super serious, cinematic feeling they’re trying to portray.

No. These characters are well written and fit into the world. I’ve not come across any proper ‘zany’ characters yet.
