Saw people posting pics of him on instagram this morning and realised he must have died, presumed they were standard ‘celebrity dies of old age’ tributes. Then noticed the news notification on my phone saying him and his wife were both dead in an apparent homicide. Crazy stuff.
Im mainly of the view that vigilantism is wrong and encouraging it can only lead to bad outcomes for society.
Sometimes though…
Went and had little sob in the work toilets at lunch. He was the same age as my dad. This and the Bondi Beach attack so close together has just broken me ngl
If anyone has Trump Derangement Syndrome, it’s Trump, the stupid sack of dogshit.
Sometimes the insults are true. I’m a snowflake, because I get upset when people are horrible to me online. And I definitely have TDS. Seeing him talk and act as he does day after day, and get away with all of it, while large numbers of people revere him, and getting off all of his legal woes because of winning the election… how does anyone not lose their mind when everything makes so little sense?
In my case, simply by pretty much stopping watching the news. Which I know is an admission of defeat.
let’s move away from Trump, we all know the man is a ghoul and this is about remembering Reiner
Kevin Pollak has some fun stories about making A Few Good Men
Weird that thanks, I guess, to the West Wing, in my mind it’s Bradley Whitford in that role in the film. Had completely scrubbed Pollak from the cast
His 5th most watched film on Letterboxd is a 2010 one called Flipped which I have never heard of
Imagine social media implying the young are not to be trusted.
Echoing what I said earlier, but just very cool and weirdly refreshing for such a Biden guy to talk about this stuff and use his platform to boost it.

Anyone see his LBJ film? Worth watching?
This is quite something - you may or may not want to watch it…
Paul Mecurio is the warm up man for the Late Show and he did this podcast with Rob and his son Nick nine years ago. Nick had been through rehab, written a film about his experience and his dad directed it. In and of itself it was a fascinating watch, but understandably not everyone will necessarily want to see it now.
I had a spinal tap today, been waiting for it all week so i was really trying hard not to say anything to the doctor about the timing
Watching 30 Rock and he just showed up as himself
So fucking sad.
He did, but it was Stand By Me
He directed the top two kimg adaptations
I mean Shawshank is still out there and he produced that one too
