Rolling heavy music thread 2024

Just seen that Outlander have been added as support for the Spotlights gig in London on Tuesday.
They’re Jesu influenced doomgaze on Church Rd records.

Anyone else going to the gig?

I’m at The Armed on Wednesday so don’t have the legs for it, but Outlander are great.

Filthy Death from Glasgow

This has no relation to either the Banshes or the shoegazers with the same name.

Saw them a few weeks ago. Real nasty stuff.

I love that tape, think i posted up there somewhere. The last track is proper filth, genuinely quite hard to listen to

Them and Coffin Mulch, and generally At War WIth False Noise stuff is well worth a look

The Eyeteeth/Burial Rot they recently put out is absolutely killer. real horrible as well. Sludgy noisy death metal along with some straight edge violence. Worth a sprinkle on your corn flakes.

can’t find much discussion of this band on DiS but this is just astonishing

discovered them cos my mates band are supporting when they play Tufnell Park Dome at the end of July

I’ve already got myself a ticket so if anyone else fancies coming, do join

If this new song is anything to go by, I should spend some time getting to know Sugar Horse. It’s a belter. It also made me rather pleased to hear that they’re supporting Julie Christmas at the Garage, which might be good news for all who celebrate.

I’m not into the new songs and am a bit worried about it. Their debut is one of my favourite albums of the last few years and it’s well worth your time.

Kind of - it’s a compilation of the 2 previous sold out EPs. First time on vinyl though
