Following up on my previous thread on songs featuring choirs, inspired by Mitski sounding like Feist, the dogs on Mitski’s I’m Your Man reminds me of Fiona Apple’s ‘Fetch the Boltcutters’ (I’m starting to wonder how original Mitski actually is)
Any other great songs with dogs? I think there’s a Prince one because my old family dog used to go wild when my brother used to play it but I can’t remember the song.

Strange Ranger - Doggies
A really affecting little interlude that shares music with and hints at the album’s climax. It has the band members’ dogs on lead vocals, barking over piano. I love it.
Probably one of my least favourite Pink Floyd songs, though this is a good dog:
edit: actually, the Pompeii version doesn’t have the rubbish singing on, so it’s all dog

What a coincidence, I specifically played this as the first school run track of the day because you can’t go wrong with a song with singing dogs in it.
