You know what I love? Songs that establish a chord progression and don’t (or barely) stray from it, even in the chorus. Some might say that sounds dirgey, but done well, I think it lends a song incredible, inexorable momentum and sounds wonderfully epic. Here are three of my favourite examples:

edit: Just dawned on me that there’s a tiny change in this, but it’s part of the repeating pattern.
