Shamefully I have no knowledge of Spanish music but have been really enjoying this comp released this year (and the previous one in the series)
and now Bandcamp have done a related feature so some good stuff to follow up.
Anyone know any of the featured albums or just want to generally share and talk about Spanish music (of any style or vintage) you like?
Big fan of the main players - Gypsy Kings, Los Lobos, Buena Vista Social Club, the Lambada

Came to link to this experimental Catalunyan folk/electronic album from March which I’ve been enjoying on a repeat listen and came here to find out what people were saying about it, seems nobody posted it at the time (not sure how it ended up on my playlist without going into the weekly release thread). Anyway it features Holly Herndon and Kronos Quartet, and brings to mind the more leftfield output of Rosalia and Bjork. This is their second album, I think the first is more closely rooted to folk traditions and I’ll be listening to that too, as this is great.
I like Victor Herrero cos of his collabs with Josephine Foster
Emak Bakia. Saw him at Primavera in 2002, really good stuff, still go back to his stuff now. Sounds kind of like (latter period) Hood or Mum. He’s got a few albums, really like this one from 2003:
